Gateway to Iceland is a new, rather unique name of a older company, Go Travel Iceland,

that started personally handcrafting travel and tours to Iceland in 2008, for groups, couples, families and even individuals. Actually, it is two distinct sections in one company.

We are a fully licensed and insured Day Tour operator, making daily excursions to some of Iceland‘s most beautiful, photographically stunning and historical sites. We are also a full service Travel Agent, offering complete, handcrafted ground package travel from your arrival at the International Airport at Keflavik, Iceland to your departure from it many days later. All the best hotels, restaurants, guides, destinations, activities and services are partners in travel with GTI, Gateway to Iceland Of course every company is only as good as the staff within and the overall Five Star rating (Trip Advisor) from the old GTI has followed it to the new GTI, with absolutely no break or pause in it‘s superior services to all customers.

Suffice it only to say, the name change was necessary, but it was also appropriate as we moved forward into the second decade of travel to Iceland in the 21st century.
